Bezina, Rendulic and Sijan training with the Bears

In agreement with the club, three former Medvescak players will spend part of their preseason training in the Den.

Goran Bezina, Borna Rendulic and Ivan Sijan started training with Medvescak on the Zagreb Velesajam. Three players are part of Medvescak' training camp, but none of them has a contract with the club. In agreement with the club, former Medvescak players will spend part of their preseason in Zagreb.

Rendulic, first Croatian player who played in NHL will stay in the Den until he finds his new club. Borna started his career in Medvescak and was a part of the team that played in EBEL throughout the 2010/11 season.

37-year-old Goran Bezina played for the Bears last season in the KHL where he had 56 appearences scoring four goals and assisting 11 times. Most of his career Bezina spent in Swiss team Geneve-Servette where he became captain.

Ivan Sijan also started his career in Medvescak where he spent eight years before signing for Olimpija Ljubljana in 2014. After one year in Slovenia, Sijan spent two last seasons in Sweden, Norway and Danmark.
