The Bears always knew how to do the right thing, and they proved this with numerous charity campaigns that they took part for years. This season will not be any different. The campaign Pink October and Moustache November are well known, when the Bears reminded their supporters about the importance of taking care of health. With the tomorrow's game starts the pucks sale for the children department of the Zagreb Clinic for Tumors.
At the initiative from fans' association Sector Bavaria München, or more precisely from the humanitarian and benefactor Pave Šukan, in this season a new fundraising campaign was initiated with the goal of collecting funds for the children's department of the Zagreb Clinic for Tumors. So, this year, together with well known pink and blue pucks, the white pucks will also be sold, and the funds collected by the pucks sale will go to TV sets and tablets for the children's rooms, to make the toddlers stay at the hospital at least a bit more easy, to help them follow lessons and study, but also for their entertainment.
The pink and the blue pucks are sold for 100 kunas, while the white pucks cost 200 kunas. Supporters' families can also join the campaign by buying a family package of pink, blue and white puck for 300 kunas.
For a number of years, Medveščak's campaigns help those in need and prove that the athletes, along with the healthy body and healthy spirit, also have a big heart. They proved this with the new campaign "Let's afforest Croatia together" earlier this year, when the team, in collaboration with Croatian Forests, donated seedlings to the areas devastated by wildfires in Dalmatia.
So, join our campaign and make a difference with just one puck!
