The Bears return from Salzburg with no points

After 3 consecutive wins, Medvescak lost 3:1 away vs. Red Bull Salzburg

In the 9th round of EBEL the Bears lost the away game vs. Red Bull Salzburg 3:1.

This was the 18th visit of Medevescak to Mozart's town, and unfortunately their 14th loss. Out of total of 33 games so far, Salzburg won 22 and Medvescak 11.

In the first period there were two goals. Baltram scored for the hosts lead in 13th minute, but Medvescak equalized just 37 seconds later, with the 3rd goal of the season by the Norwegian player Sondre Olden.

In the second period there were no goals, but in the last period the Bulls beat Drew MacIntyre twice. First Rauchenwald in 54th, and then Hughes in 56th minute in a powerplay situation, brought all three points to the hosts.
