The Kontinental Hockey League held a seminar in Moscow on Wednesday about its teams' marketing and communications, and Medvescak was represented by the director of marketing communications and sponsorship Mislav Madirazza and PR manager Andro Petani.
''This is the first seminar that the league has organized. A lot of new ideas were brought forward that demonstrated the new league management's tendency to be additionally open to suggestions from the clubs, and to improve the position of the clubs toward the league as well as toward the league's partners upon sponsorship agreements every year. A lot was also said regarding improving the experience of games, both live and via broadcast, what hockey lovers will be able to feel already in the coming season'', stated Mislav Madirazza.
The goal of this seminar was to elevate the league to a higher level, along with the clubs that make up the KHL. The topics that the league covered in Moscow were: Projected League Development 2015-2017 (mission and league vision, goal group: repositioning promotion of the league to include goal groups – family, experience of attending games), Panasonic 3D mapping presentation to show before games, TV viewers (catching TV viewers, weekly 'super' hockey TV day, high quality KHL game broadcasts, image quality), allocation of revenue among the league's clubs in the '14-'15 season for the implementation of targeted programs, joint programs by the league and clubs in the '15-'16 season, the communication strategy (target audiences, key messages, communication streams, KHL extranet portal) for cooperation with the media to work on '' building '' new hockey stars, the development of club and league sports groups on social networks and a partnership program with clubs for highlight schedules and broadcasts.
