Pan Arena Ice Fever 25.01.2014

Record for loudest cheering broken, volume hits 130.02 db

''I got goose bumps from how loud it was'', revealed Sasa Martinovic.

Medvescak's fans broke the record for the loudest cheer at an Indoor Sports Stadium in the Pan Arena Ice Fever game against Lokomotiv from Yaroslavl! The record, previously set at 126 decibels by fans of the NBA's Sacramento Kings in their Sleep Train Arena last November, was crushed by the thunderous throats of Medvescak's fans by four decibels.

All 15,200 of the fans present set the record with the help of a megaphone in the second period of the game, with the volume reaching 130.02 decibels.

''I was on the bench at that moment, and when they started cheering I got goose bumps from how loud it was. Congratulations to all of the fans for that incredible atmosphere and for another record that we've broken. It was an incredible feeling'', said defenseman Sasa Martinovic.
