Medvescak's long-time Captain Alan Letang closed one chapter of his life this summer, and began another one. He said goodbye to his playing career and turned to coaching waters. However, he's still a part of Medvescak's family and a part of Zagreb's Den. It's just that this season he's not sharing the locker room with the other players, but with the coaching staff instead.
He officially retired from his playing career, and also the role of team captain that he carried for the past five seasons, on September 14th at Medvescak's first KHL home game this season against Severstal.
