In past seasons, at the very end of each season, we've published a letter from the club with thankful words to our fans, partners, sponsors, coworkers... who took part and helped our work and successes throughout the season in any way. This season there won't be any of that missing!
THANK YOU to our partners, sponsors, friends, coworkers, media, VOLUNTEERS, and all of our fans for an unbelievable and unforgettable experience that we went through together on our sports journey into the KHL this season. We started this season with the words ''LITTLE PEOPLE EXIST TO DO BIG THINGS'' and together we truly accomplished the biggest thing! Together we sent our team to the playoffs!!!
However, we've decided to close this season with words that are a bit different from past seasons. Today in our inbox we received, amongst numerous congratulations, messages, and thank you's, a letter from one of our fans that we've decided to publish and use it as a big 'THANK YOU' because 'IT WAS A PLEASURE FOR US TO BE WITH YOU ON THIS INCREDIBLE JOURNEY!''.
Until next season in the mighty KHL, a sports salute,
KHL MEDVESCAK Zagreb
Together we can do unbelievable things - post festum
WHAT AN INCREDIBLE JOURNEY!
Everyone still remembers 06.09.2013! Not knowing what to expect. CSKA 5:15PM. The Bear Dec becoming the hornet's nest. You remember, before that game the fans sent you a letter: ''Together we can do unbelievable things!''. We asked you to please give it your all in every game, and regardless of what the score was, it wouldn't be the judge of our love and support. And so, the journey began.
You have always burned for the club, for yourselves, for us... We supported you as best we knew how. Together we broke records both on the ice and around it - lots of them. We were excited about every time you won, we were proud of you through every loss. They wrote about us around the world, about a small club in a big league, about a heroic game. You accomplished some unbelievable things!
You became idols to our children, you showed them sport in its purest form, there's no giving up at anytime to anyone! You became parts of our families, our everyday life, and our lives overall. One day when you look back on this journey, know that it is your biggest achievement! It's not the goals or the victories that are most important to us, what's most important is the respect for what we believe in, and your attitude toward us and the club demonstrated that everywhere and in every moment. Thank you for that.
Thank you to everyone, all of the players, the coaches, and everyone that works in and around the club. You believed, and we believed in you. And with that: You are our heroes! We were part of the same history, the same crazy journey.
Now that the journey is over and since you are probably a bit sad that it has ended, we are nothing but proud. Proud that you were here, in this Den, in this city, and in this nation. We ask you to please be as proud of yourselves as we are of you.
Some of you will leave and become members of other dens. We hope that some of you will stay. Those who are leaving, we wish you all the best in your personal lives and in the rest of your careers. Wherever this amazing sport takes you, give it your all because from now on you are forever Bears and that is your responsibility. You are always welcome here because you remain in our hearts. You are forever a part of us.
Those of you who are staying, and those that will come here: The rules stay the same! Actually, there's only one rule: PLAY WITH YOUR HEART! Give it your best! That's all we ask of you. We will give it our all, you give yours. If that's enough to win, great, if not, then we'll show our respect to the better team and try harder the next time.
Now we just have one problem: waiting for the new games. Zig-Zag (T.R.)
